Our Story

Angie and Nicolette started out their Therapy journey at Tyndale University, where they met as they completed their Master’s degrees in Clinical Counselling. Soon after, fate would have it that they would both continue their next step into working at the same youth and family agency in the GTA. There they both continued to deepen their friendship and hone their clinical skills as they shared not only a workspace, but many similar core values.

Angie and Nicolette continued to move onto other various mental health agencies within the field, diversifying their scope of practice, working with specialized programs for youth, families and adults. As years passed, they shared a vision to create a space where therapists could excel at the work they do, and feel supported in doing it.

The Good Journey is the makings of this space where we as therapists can sharpen our skillsets as a team, care for and build each other up, and in turn, pour out this resilience that has been cultivated, into a relationship with our clients.

Our Name

The Good Journey is symbolic of the ebbs and flows that life has to offer. Life can be so full of pain and suffering at times, as well as excitement and happiness. Our aim at the good journey is to help you discover how we can keep our peace and joy in the midst of all the chaos we endure. We believe that all of our experiences are good, when you can journey with trusted and loving company.
